An Aztec goblet
Mexico, circa 1300 - 1521 AD
pottery, with an incised band of three repeating symbols, with red and black decoration,
15cm high.
Used for the drinking of pulque, an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented sap of the maguey (agave) plant.
