the brass movement on a four inch silvered dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and fifty six hour Down / Up dials, inscribed 'SHARMAN D. NEILL LTD / Donegall Place, Belfast / 13548 / Kew A', in a brass bound twin hinged case with a glazed upper section and flush mounted side carry handles, with an ivory retailer's plaque, with original keys

Sharman D Neill Ltd is a retail jeweller establised in London in the mid-19th century and in Belfast in the late-19th century. Initially on Donegall Place, Belfast more recently they were found on Royal Avenue.
