the brass eight day movement with outside countwheel and striking on a bell, the backplate stamped 'PLANCHON, PARIS', on a domed enamelled dial with back Arabic numerals and inscribed 'Levol a Paris', the arched marble case surmounted by an urn and applied with further gilt and coppered metal mounts, with key and pendulum
