A teak seaman's chest, the hinged lid painted a three masted British ship, with a banner inscribed 'Mary Carmarthen,' flanked by a sailor holding a British flag and a lady wearing and holding stars and strips, with a lidded till, having rope handles, 15.5cm (39.5cm) high, 37in (94cm) w, 16in (40cm).
