A RARE SCANDINAVIAN TREEN BIRCH WINE BOTTLE CRADLE
LATE 18TH / EARLY 19TH CENTURY
the hinged cradle carved with leaves to the underside and to the base with a ball handle, on twin scroll supports with carved mythical horse's head terminals, with a ratchet mechanism to the oblong base to pour the bottle, on four leaf-capped scroll feet
25cm high, 33.8cm wide, 25.3cm deep
