A REGENCY MAHOGANY LONGCASE CLOCK
BY MOON OF HOLBORN BARS, EARLY 19TH CENTURY
the brass eight day movement with shaped plates and five turned pillars, the anchor escapement quarter striking on two bells, the 12in painted circular dial with Roman numerals and with strike / silent lever, signed 'Moon Holborn Bars', in a brass inlaid ebonised flamed figured case, with a Gothic lancet shape hood, above a an arched trunk door flanked by stop fluted quarter pilasters, with two brass cased weights, pendulum and winding key
