marquetry inlaid with rosewood with scrolling leaves, the hinged lid inscribed 'Thé', the watered silk lined interior fitted with a pair of porcelain flasks and stoppers, flanking a canister, all gilt decorated on a green ground, the lids with panels of Chinese figures
