Description
A malachite snuff box/bonbonnière, 19th century, of circular outline, tilting slightly downwards towards the opening, composed of malachite panels mounted in gold, the hinged lid opening to reveal a plain gold interior, the base of green hardstone, measuring 7.6 x 7.6 x 2.9cm, indistinct assay marks to interior, significant losses to malachite
