Description
A gold, enamel and diamond snuff box, of oval outline, centring on the cipher of Tsar Nicholas II, set with rose-cut diamonds, within a border of larger rose-cut diamonds and surmounted by a crown set with cabochon rubies, to a ground of radiating pale and deep blue guilloché enamel, the box sides with deep blue guilloché enamel, the juncture between box and lid lined with a border of laurel leaves in gold, centring on a cabochon ruby within scrolled borders of rose-cut diamonds, opening to reveal a plain gold interior, measuring 6.2 x 5.1 x 3cm, spurious Russian marks for Fabergé and Henrik Wigström, gross weight 141 grams, fitted wooden case with spurious Fabergé stamp
