A George IV amethyst parure, 1830s, comprising: a necklace, the front set with three oval amethysts, suspending a fringe of three pear-shaped amethyst pendants, each in scrolling frames of gold cannetille, the back chain formed from twisted bar links, length 35cm, length at front 6cm; a pair of drop earrings, length 7cm each, hook fittings possibly later; and a brooch, length 2.6cm, fitted case
