An early-Victorian silver 'Castle-top' card case, York Minster,
by F. Clarke, Birmingham 1843,
rectangular form, hinged cover, the front with a scene of the Minster, within engraved foliate scroll decoration on a matted background, the reverse with similar decoration, and with a vacant cartouche, with a chain attachment, length 9.6cm, approx. weight 3.1oz.
