A George III silver nutmeg grater,
maker's mark only, S.M, for Samuel Meriton, London circa 1770,
baluster form, chased foliate scroll decoration, the screw-off cover opens to reveal a steel grater, on a raised circular foot, height 4.5cm, approx. weight 0.6oz.
