An early-18th century silver tobacco rasp case,
unmarked, circa 1720,
shaped oval form, with a smaller and larger flush-hinged compartment, engraved strapwork decoration, with an armorial within drape mantling, gilded interior, length 13.4cm, approx. weight 3.3oz.
Provenance: A Private Collection.
Purchased from Sotheby's, London, 20 November 2003, lot 164.
The armorial is that of Paget.
