An 18th century Scottish silver snuff mull,
unmarked circa 1750,
oval baluster form, the front with an armorial within foliate mantling, the hinged cover with a crest, gilded interior, height 5.7cm, approx. weight 2.3oz.
Provenance: A Private Collection.
Purchased from Bonhams, Knightsbridge, 29 June 1993, lot 34.
The armorial and crest are that of Baynham.
