A set of four George III silver candlesticks,
by John Carter, London 1770,
fluted Corinthian column form, with detachable drip pans, on raised stepped square bases with gadroon borders, turned wooden bases, each capital with a scratch weight which adds up to 60oz, also with a crest, height 31cm. (4)
The crest is that of Bowles.
