A large 19th century Russian silver and niello work mounted ceremonial drinking horn,
possibly Grodno (Belarus), 1857,
the upper mounts with foliate scroll decoration and inscribed in the niello work the lower mounts with birds in foliate decoration and with a bird head terminal, with a chain attachment, length 79.5cm.
