A three-handled silver Celtic trophy cup,
probably by Wakely and Wheeler, London 1910,
tapering circular and bellied form, with bands of Celtic strapwork and motifs, the three handles with mythical beast heads, on a raised circular foot, on a wooden plinth, late inscribed 'The Liverpool Spring Cup, Aintree 1968', height 23.8cm, height on plinth 29.2cm, approx weight 49oz.
