circular form, spot-hammered decoration, the plates and one bowl inscribed 'Richard Charles Sheldon Edwin Paget Pennoyer November 11th MCMXXI', one bowl with a rope-twist border, approx. weight 17.8oz. (4)

Provenance: A Private Collection.
Richard Charles Sheldon Edwin Paget Pennoyer (approx. 1921-1992) moved to Kenya after World War II, where he ran a safari company, but later returned to England following Kenyan independence. Richard Pennoyer’s mother was Winifred Constance Hester Paget.
