shaped tapering circular form, applied decoration and cartouche with initials and motto, engraved around the border 'Challenge Vase for the encouragement of Art', scroll handles mounted with recumbent lions, on a raised foot with bead border, height 22.7cm, approx. weight 30.2oz.
