Peter Bower, Redlench. A 30 hour clock movement, within a steel and brass posted frame and striking on a bell to a 9.5in (24cm) square brass dial with matt centre, single hand and silvered chapter ring, inscribed 'P Bower Redlench,' with cast shell corner spandrels. Peter Bower, Redlynch, near Salisbury, b.1715 d.1795.
