A PAIR OF CHINESE IRON-RED ‘PHOENIX’ ZHADOU
QING DYNASTY
Each with a globular body finely painted with phoenix amidst lingzhi-shaped clouds between borders of formal lappets, all beneath wide flared rims decorated with lotus a chrysanthemum, 9cm dia. (2)
Provenance: from the collection of Dr Nariman Bamji (1909-1978).
