A SMALL COLLECTION OF JAPANESE KAKIEMON-STYLE PIECES
EDO PERIOD, 17TH CENTURY
Comprising: an octagonal cup, each side painted with flower sprays, the base with a label reading 'OCS 2006 The World in Colours, no.149'; two small shaped dishes with prunus issuing from rockwork, one with a paper label for 'OCS 2006 The World in Colours, no.150'; two tall cups with further floral designs, and a small figure of a bijin, her hair tied up in a knot and her robes embellished with a pattern of leaves, 10cm max. (6)
