A RECONSTRUCTED SECTION OF A MASSIVE CHINESE BRONZE DING
SHANG DYNASTY OR LATER
Consisting of sections of the rim extending down for up to 25cm, with two upright square loop handles, decorated with elaborate geometric interlocking scrolls incorporating ram's head motifs, one section of the interior of the rim with columns of calligraphy, 68cm across, raised on a modern cast iron stand.
