A Dutch Colonial carved ebony side chair, decorated foliage with twist supports, the shaped top rail above spindles, the supports with bud finials, a later drop in seat above a shaped apron, the legs united by peripheral stretchers, previously on castors. Probably Ceylon late 17th century.
