THORSESBY R.A.M.C.), un-official but legitimate engraved alteration to name*; British War Medal 1914-20 and Victory Medal (CAPT. J. E. THORESBY.); 1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star, War Medal 1939-45; mounted for wearing, the first near fine, the others very fine [6]; together with a private purchase trench periscope, and a pair of field glasses by Karl Zeiss in a leather case.
