A Scottish basket-hilted sword, single-edged blade 30 in., back fuller, incised running wolf mark, the base of the blade struck six times to each side with a small geometric mark; basket-hilt formed of round bars with pierced and fluted panels, fluted conical pommel, the grip retaining some shagreen on a wooden core, 18th century.
