A Martin Brothers stoneware Grotesque vase by Edwin and Walter Martin, dated 1911, ovoid form with flaring top rim, applied with two modelled reptile handles- each biting the top rim of the vase, the vase incised with turbulent flowing water design, glazed green highlights on a matt brown ground, incised 11-1911 Martin Bros London & Southall, 21.5cm. high
