A large barbotine pottery vase in the manner of Ernest Chaplet, shouldered, baluster form, applied with flower stems, the body painted with a young courting couple in medieval dress, in colours on a mottled blue ground, incised E mark to base, minor losses, and old restoration to neck, 50cm.high
