A GEORGE II WALNUT BUREAU BOOKCASE
C.1735 AND LATER
with cross and feather banding, with a pair of doors inset with bevelled and etched mirrors revealing three shelves, with a pair of candle slides, the hinged fall revealing pigeonholes, drawers, secret pilaster compartments, a central cupboard and a sliding well cover, above four long drawers, the back with a label inscribed 'Hon. V. Seeley, 24 10 1939'
