Description

A late Regency mahogany drum table, the revolving top inset with replaced gilt tooled leather above four real and four false drawers with ebonised edging, the real drawers inset with ivory discs lettered 'A,B,C,D' and fitted with later brass handles, on a turned stem, the rings inscribed 'This table belonged to Sir George Philips First Bart also to Sir George R. Philips Second Bart and to Julia Countess of Camperdown' the triform base on turned supports and brass castors, 75cm (29.5in) high, 106cm (42in) deep.
