Description
A George III mahogany, harewood and marquetry inlaid cylinder top writing desk, the domed tambour with a replaced gilt brass handle and a later gilt tooled leather inset surface, above a pair of frieze drawers inlaid with urns in ovals with drapes, fitted with later handles and locks, the sides with later handles, on square tapering legs, one replaced, and later brass castors, 85.5cm (33.5in) high, 84cm (33in) wide, 54cm (21.25in) deep.
