A gold and turquoise hair ornament, 1830s, composed of nine clusters of gold flowers, cannetille and beadwork set with turquoise cabochons, supported by openwork foliate scrolls, above bands of grapevine meander and foliate decoration accented with turquoise cabochons, elaborately worked in varicoloured gold, to a gilt metal comb fitting, inner curve 16cm, height at centre 4.8cm excluding comb, modern fitted case
