An Apulian red figure pelike
circa 4th century BC
painted a standing nude male offering a patera from his draped arm and a seated robed female holding a fan, with laurel between them and windows above, the reverse with two standing robed males, with a border of meander and crossed squares and laurel between the loop handles and palmettes below,
28.5cm high.
