A rare Mennecy pot pourri jar and cover, c.1750, the rounded form applied with flowerheads in the Meissen schneeballen manner, raised on a rocky base with a long-tailed mythical beast entwining its tail; among the roots of a tree, the cover pierced with three flowerhead designs, incised DV mark, 14cm.
