A Paris porcelain gilt-metal mounted casket, 19th century, finely painted with roses, thistles and lilies, the flared sides with floral swags tied with blue ribbons, fitted with a hinged overhead handle pierced with flowers and foliate motifs, the interior with a later burgundy fabric lining, 18.8cm across.
