A LARGE SOUTH-EAST ASIAN PAINTED LACQUER PAPIER-MACHE PUMPKIN STORAGE BOX
BURMA, 19TH CENTURY
with an applied metal cartouche, the twisting stem handle is carved and lacquered wood, now fixed, the interior fitted with a tray decorated with stylised watery landscapes, together with a smaller example (2)
