Antonio Berini (1770-1830), a fine carnelian intaglio pendant, early and mid 19th century, set with an oval carnelian intaglio depicting a man in profile, within a later mid-19th century mount, designed in gold in the Archaeological Revival style applied with rope twist and grainti details, the woven wire border decorated with confronted ram's heads, to a similar bail, intaglio 2.9 x 2.0, signed Berini, pendant length 7.5cm including bail, brooch fittings stamped with Papal assay mark
