A Victorian enamel, ruby and diamond brooch, late 19th century, designed as a swallow flying among a branch entwined with a tree orchid, set with cushion-shaped and rose-cut diamonds, the swallow's eye set with a cabochon ruby, the orchid applied with multicoloured enamel, mounted in silver and gold, length 5.4cm
