A RARE OAK COFFER
POSSIBLY FLEMISH, C.1640
the twin panelled top with scrolling iron strap hinges, an iron lock and till, above a frieze with triangular pediments and four Gothic blind fretwork panels interspersed by stylised flower bud pilasters, with a scrolling apron and broad stiles, the sides with wrought iron swing handles and ogee arches
