A SOUTH GERMAN BURR YEW, INLAID AND STEEL MOUNTED TABLE CABINET
PROBABLY AUGSBURG OR NUREMBURG, LATE 16TH OR EARLY 17TH CENTURY AND LATER
the outer case with burr yew and inlaid bands around a steel plaque, each etched with a rondel of a various birds inside scrolling foliage, with a swing handle and the corners with steel mounts, the fall front enclosing an arrangement of eight drawers the fronts of each with a steel panel with etched scrolling foliage and strapwork
