Description
A Charles I spoon, with gilt seal indistinctly pricked with initials and date, struck once in the bowl and thrice on the stem, with an acorn (?), c.1640, 6.8in (17.3cm). See Jackson's Revised, p.521 for similar marks recorded on a slip top spoon.
