circular form, embossed scroll and foliate decoration, inscribed 'TO G.W. BALFOUR M.D. L.L.D. F.R.C.P FROM Sir Henry Littlejohn in memory of MANY ACTS OF PROFESSIONAL KINDNESS AND A CROWNING MERCY IN MARCH 1897', on a raised circular foot, diameter 26.3cm, approx. weight 29.9oz.
