A CHINESE YELLOW BEIJING GLASS BOTTLE VASE
18TH/19TH CENTURY

The pear-shaped body rising to a waisted neck with a flared lipped rim and raised on a short gently splayed foot, carved in low relief with a bird perched on rockwork between prunus and peony, 22.5cm.

Provenance: from the collection of the late AJ Lippitt (1928-2019), Hampshire; acquired from Christie's London, 15th November 2000, lot 123 (a copy of the invoice is available).
