Description

A suite of three Charles II casters, with corrugated cylindrical bodies, on pierced, domed bases engraved with stiff leaves, contemporary initials 'AP', the bayonet-fitting covers pierced with individual patterns of fleur de lys, quatrefoils and drops, applied cut-card decoration and turned knop finials, maker's mark WB [mullet below], London 1682/1683, the larger 7in (18cm), the smaller two 6in (15.3cm), 22oz.
