the brass eight day four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and striking on a bell, the brass dial with a silvered chapter ring with black Roman hours and Arabic numerals, the silvered centre with a subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and engraved scrolling foliage, the hood with a glazed door on a trunk with a rectangular door and plinth base, with two weights and a pendulum
