the brass eight day four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and striking on a bell, the brass dial with black Roman hours, Arabic five minutes and date ring, the centre engraved with scrolling foliage, beneath the arch inscribed 'THOMAS RADFORD LEEDS' above a panel painted with figures by a river, the hood with an arched door on a trunk with a shaped and crossbanded door and panelled base, with two weights and a pendulum
