the brass eight day drum movement by Marti and stamped 'HJ, 110', striking on a gong, the enamelled dial with gilt Roman hours beneath a 'SF' adjuster and inscribed 'Howell James & Co, To the Queen, London, Paris', the gilt case with turned finials and columns, with enamel and gilt rondels and engraved scrolling foliage, on turned feet
