A FRENCH ROUGE GRIOTTE MARBLE AND GILT BRONZE PLINTH TIMEPIECE
LATE 19TH CENTURY
of square form, the fluted top above a French timepiece with a brass eight day drum movement on an enamelled dial with black Arabic numerals and floral swags, between ribbons and laurel leaves, inset with wavy foliate panels, on toupie feet
