BY THOMAS WHIPP, ROCHDALE, MID / LATE 19TH CENTURY
the brass eight day movement with a vertical balance wheel and stamped 'VAP BREVETE SCDG' enclosed by a pierced back, the white enamel dial with black Roman hours and inscribed 'Thos Whipp & Son, 48 Yorkshire St., Rochdale', in its original leather case, together with a compensated barometer by 'T Wheeler, London, No. 1203', with its original leather case (4)
