inlaid with mother of pearl and with egg and dart mouldings, the hinged top enclosing a gilt tooled leather and silk pouch above a silk lined fitted interior with divisions, open and lidded compartments, above a pair of hinged, tooled and gilt leather lined doors revealing three drawers, one with trays for jewellery and another with a writing slope and inkwells, with hoop swing handles and spinning top feet
